Closing the Year With Gratitude and a Pause
As this year comes to a close, I want to pause and say thank you.
Not the rushed kind. The real kind.
This year, The Action Mapping Method grew in ways I did not fully anticipate. Not because of algorithms or hacks, but because people chose to read, reflect, reply, and share.
Here is what that looked like in numbers:
431 subscribers reading and thinking alongside me
1,309 podcast downloads of long-form conversations about clarity and alignment
88 people personally recommended to other Substack publications because their work deserved more eyes
But the numbers are not the point.
What mattered most this year were the quiet messages, the thoughtful replies, the moments where someone said, “This helped me think more clearly,” or “This finally gave me language for what I was feeling.”
That tells me this work is doing what it is meant to do.
I am also choosing to take a break for a bit.
Not from caring. Not from thinking. But from publishing on a schedule.
This pause is intentional. It is about integration, reflection, and creating space to shape what comes next with more depth and less noise.
When I return, I want to build what is actually useful to you.
So before I step back, I would love your input.
Two quick questions for you
You can reply directly to this post, or answer the questions in this survey
1. What has been most helpful for you this year?
This could be a post, a concept, the podcast, or even just the tone of the work.
2. What would you most want support with in the new year?
Think topics, problems you want help thinking through, or workshops you would actually show up for.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for reading with intention and for trusting me with your attention.
I will see you on the other side of the pause.
🩷 Tamar
